Serial.write array of float6/12/2023 ![]() Ultimately, what I am trying to do is get data from the touchRead sensors over a serial connection to another program (Processing/SuperCollider/whatever). Somewhere between differing byte sizes coming from different Arduino outputs and getting the data functionally through a serial port (with as little loss of resolution as possible), the definitions of everything are getting a little cornfusing. So let me step back a bit and explain what I am trying to do. ![]() On Teensy 3.1 each int is made up of 4 bytes, so it's not what you want (if you use a trick to get Serial.write to send it).Īrghh. ![]() Just change the variable type of your array. The problem is you made an array of "int", when you needed an array of "byte". You certainly can send an array of bytes.
